What is Lipovela made of?

Lipovela is a PPC and deoxycholate formula with two added support ingredients.

• Phosphatidylcholine (PPC) — a phospholipid that emulsifies fat. It is usually sourced from soy.
• Sodium deoxycholate — a bile salt. It keeps the PPC in solution and breaks down fat cell membranes.
• L-carnitine — carries fatty acids into cells to be used for energy.
• Vitamin B12 — takes part in fat and energy metabolism.

Which areas is Lipovela used on?

It is used on body areas with localised fat: the abdomen and waist, the armpit area and bra rolls, and the thighs, hips and back. The brand positions it for patients who also worry about loose skin after fat loss. It is not a weight-loss treatment.

How is Lipovela used?

It is supplied ready to use and placed in the subcutaneous fat layer. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for use for the depth, the volume per point, the spacing and the gap between sessions. Results build over a course of sessions.

Swelling, redness and tenderness for a few days are expected with PPC and deoxycholate. Tell patients before the first session.

How should Lipovela be stored?

Store it as printed on the box, away from direct sunlight and heat. Do not freeze. Check the expiry date when the box arrives.
