Nabota 150U is a single vial of 150 units of botulinum toxin type A, made by Daewoong Pharmaceutical in South Korea. It is the same Nabota toxin as the 100U and 200U vials the only difference is how many units are in the bottle.

Nabota 100U, 150U or 200U — which vial should you order?

Pick the vial that matches how many units you use once the vial is opened. A reconstituted vial should be used within a short window, so leftover units are usually wasted.

Nabota 100U Nabota 150U Nabota 200U
Units per vial 100 150 200
Good fit for One or two upper-face areas Full upper face, or upper face + one extra area Masseter, several patients in one session
Toxin Same botulinum toxin type A, same manufacturer, same purification

A common upper-face treatment (frown lines, forehead and crow's feet) often lands between 40 and 64 units. That makes 150U a practical choice for two to three patients from one vial, or one patient with upper face plus jawline.

What is Nabota made of?

Nabota is purified botulinum toxin type A supplied as a freeze-dried (lyophilized) powder. It is produced from the Hall strain of Clostridium botulinum and purified with Daewoong's patented HI-PURE™ process, which is designed to remove unneeded proteins from the toxin complex. The vial also contains human serum albumin and sodium chloride as stabilisers.

How does Nabota work?

Nabota blocks the release of acetylcholine where nerves meet muscle. The treated muscle relaxes for a period of months, so the skin above it creases less. This is why it works on dynamic wrinkles — lines caused by movement — and on overactive muscles such as the masseter.

How do you dilute a 150-unit vial?

Reconstitute with preservative-free 0.9% sodium chloride. The volume of saline sets how many units are in each 0.1 mL:

Saline added Units per 0.1 mL Units per 1 mL
1.5 mL 10 U 100 U
3.0 mL 5 U 50 U
3.75 mL 4 U 40 U

Add the saline slowly down the side of the vial and swirl gently. Do not shake — foaming can damage the toxin protein.

When do results show and how long do they last?

Most patients notice softening within 2 to 3 days, with the full effect at around 2 weeks. Results usually last 3 to 4 months, sometimes longer in less mobile areas. Repeat treatments should be at least 3 months apart to lower the risk of antibody resistance.

How should Nabota 150U be stored?

Keep unopened vials refrigerated at 2–8 °C. After reconstitution, keep the vial in the fridge and use it within 24 hours. We ship toxins with cold packs in insulated packaging.
