Innotox is a ready-to-use liquid botulinum toxin type A made by Medytox Inc. in South Korea. This page covers the 50-unit and 100-unit vials. Each box contains one vial of clear solution at a fixed strength of 4 units per 0.1 mL.

Because it is already a liquid, there is no powder to mix and no saline to measure. Choose the size above, and ask us about trade pricing if you order in volume.

Innotox 50U or 100U — which vial should you order?

Both vials hold the same solution. Only the fill volume differs.

Innotox 50U Innotox 100U
Units per vial 50 100
Volume 1.25 mL 2.5 mL
Strength 4 U per 0.1 mL 4 U per 0.1 mL
Good fit for One patient, one or two upper-face areas Full upper face plus jawline, or two patients

Does Innotox need to be diluted?

No. Innotox is supplied as a finished liquid, so there is no reconstitution step and no dilution table. You draw the dose straight from the vial. At 4 U per 0.1 mL, the volume you draw gives these units:

Volume drawn Units
0.05 mL 2 U
0.1 mL 4 U
0.25 mL 10 U
0.5 mL 20 U
1.25 mL (full 50U vial) 50 U
2.5 mL (full 100U vial) 100 U

Do not add saline unless the manufacturer's instructions for use call for it. Do not shake the vial.

What is Innotox made of?

Innotox is botulinum toxin type A from the Hall strain of Clostridium botulinum, in a buffered liquid. It contains no human serum albumin. Medytox stabilises the solution with L-methionine and polysorbate 20 instead.

How does Innotox work?

Innotox blocks the release of acetylcholine where nerves meet muscle. The treated muscle relaxes for a period of months, so the skin above it creases less. That is why it is used on dynamic wrinkles — lines caused by movement — and on overactive muscles such as the masseter.

When do results show and how long do they last?

Most patients notice an effect within 2 to 3 days, with the full result at 1 to 2 weeks. Results usually last 3 to 4 months, and sometimes longer. Keep repeat treatments at least 3 months apart.

How should Innotox be stored?

Keep vials refrigerated at 2–8 °C and do not freeze them. A liquid toxin is more sensitive to warmth than a powder, so put it in the fridge as soon as it arrives. For how long an opened vial may be kept, follow the package insert. We ship toxins with cold packs in insulated packaging.
