Manla Kar is an atelocollagen skin booster made in South Korea and supplied in 1 mL units. The collagen comes from pig skin and is enzyme-treated to remove the telopeptides that trigger immune reactions. It is diluted with saline and used by professionals for hydration, brightening, pore care and the under-eye area.

What is Manla Kar made of?

Manla Kar is made of atelocollagen from porcine skin. Pig skin is about 85% collagen. Raw collagen has end sections called telopeptides, which the immune system can recognise. An enzyme step cuts these off. What remains is atelocollagen, which is very close in structure to human collagen and is absorbed well.

What is Manla Kar used for?

It is used to improve general skin quality, with a focus on the eye area. The stated aims are:

  • Deep hydration and moisture
  • Smaller-looking pores and smoother texture
  • Brighter, more even tone
  • Softer fine lines and dark circles around the eyes
  • Fading of spots and support for skin repair

It is not a volumising filler.

How is Manla Kar diluted?

Manla Kar is always diluted before use. Two mixes are described by the supplier:

Use Mix Ratio Delivery
Under-eye 1 mL Manla Kar + 1 mL normal saline 1:1 4 mm microneedle
Water-light (skin booster) session Manla Kar + saline + water-light solution 1:1:1 Water-light needle or meso gun; 2–3 mL of mix

Mix just before treatment, under clean conditions, and use it in the same session. Turn the syringe gently to mix; do not shake. These are reference ratios. The clinician decides the final plan.

Manla Kar vs HA skin boosters — what is the difference?

Manla Kar supplies collagen itself, while HA boosters supply hyaluronic acid to bind water. Clinics often use an HA or polynucleotide booster such as Rejuran for hydration and repair, and add a collagen product where the under-eye area is the main concern.

How should Manla Kar be stored?

Store as printed on the box, away from direct sunlight. Do not freeze. Check the expiry date, and discard any diluted product left after the session.

Manla Kar FAQ

What is atelocollagen?

Collagen with its telopeptide ends removed by enzymes, which lowers the risk of an immune reaction.

Where does the collagen come from?

Pig skin. Tell patients this at consultation in case of dietary or religious objections.

What size is one unit?

1 mL.

Can it be used undiluted?

No. Both described protocols dilute it with saline first.

Can it be used under the eyes?
