What is Rejuran Healer?

Rejuran Healer is an injectable skin booster whose only active ingredient is polynucleotide, a chain of purified DNA fragments extracted from salmon, at a 2% concentration in 2 × 2 ml syringes. It is manufactured by PharmaResearch Co., Ltd., which began in 1993 and released Rejuran in 2014.

Injected intradermally in a grid of small droplets, PN supports the skin's own repair processes rather than adding volume the way a hyaluronic acid filler does. That is why Rejuran sits in the skin booster and biorevitalisation category, and why results build gradually across a course of treatments rather than appearing on the day.

How is Rejuran Healer different from Rejuran I, S and HB?

Rejuran Healer is the pure-PN, full-face product, while Rejuran I, S and HB are the same polynucleotide adjusted for a specific area or need. Choose Healer when the goal is overall skin quality across the face and neck; choose the others when the eye area, scars or injection comfort is the priority.

The differences come from how each variant is formulated. Rejuran I has a lower viscosity so it spreads evenly in the thin skin around the eyes, and its bumps usually settle within one to two days. Rejuran S has a higher viscosity than Healer so it can physically support a depressed scar while the PN works underneath. Rejuran HB Plus combines PN with hyaluronic acid and lidocaine, which adds hydration and makes the injection noticeably more comfortable. How many sessions of Rejuran Healer are needed?

The standard protocol is three to four sessions spaced about three to four weeks apart, then a maintenance session every 6 to 12 months. Each box holds two 2 ml syringes, so one box covers two full-face sessions and two boxes cover a complete first course.

Injection is intradermal, typically with a 30–33G needle in a grid of small droplets across the face, neck, décolleté or hands. Rejuran Healer is a professional-use product and should be administered by a trained medical practitioner.

What results does Rejuran Healer give, and how long do they last?

Results are gradual: oil–water balance improves within about a week, and fine-line softening, skin density and the characteristic "Rejuran glow" peak around day 14 after each session. After a completed course, results last roughly six to twelve months before a maintenance session is needed.

It treats skin quality rather than volume: fine lines, rough texture, enlarged pores, dullness, thin or crepey skin and loss of elasticity from age or sun damage. It does not lift, and it does not replace a filler where volume has been lost. Downtime is short: the small raised bumps at each injection point usually subside within two to three days, occasionally up to seven on thin skin, and minor bruising clears in five to seven days. Rejuran should not be combined with cross-linked hyaluronic acid fillers in the same area, and should not be used over permanent fillers.

Is the black box Rejuran Healer the same as the red box?

Yes. The black box is the Korean domestic (hospital-market) packaging and contains the same 2% PN, 2 ml × 2 formulation as the red export box; the only difference is the outer packaging. Because domestic packaging is designed for Korea's own verification system, QR or NFC checks may not work outside Korea, which is a packaging limitation rather than a sign of a counterfeit.
