What is in a Nabota 100U vial?
Each vial holds 100 units of purified botulinum toxin type A from the Hall strain of Clostridium botulinum. Daewoong purifies it with its HI-PURE™ process. The stabilisers are human serum albumin (0.5 mg) and sodium chloride (0.9 mg).
What is Nabota 100U used for?
It relaxes the muscle it is injected into by blocking acetylcholine release at the nerve ending. Clinics use it for dynamic wrinkles such as frown lines, forehead lines and crow's feet, and for a bulky masseter.
How much saline goes into a 100-unit vial?
Use preservative-free 0.9% sodium chloride. The volume you add sets the strength of each 0.1 mL:

100 units usually covers one full upper face. If you often add a jawline, look at Nabota 150U. For masseter or body work, or several patients in one sitting, Nabota 200U wastes less.
How fast does Nabota work and how long does it last?
Softening usually starts in 2 to 3 days and is complete at about 2 weeks. Results last 3 to 4 months in most patients. Leave at least 3 months between treatments.
How should Nabota 100U be stored?
Store unopened vials in the fridge at 2–8 °C. Once mixed, keep the vial refrigerated and use it within 24 hours. We pack toxins with cold packs in insulated boxes.
