What is Replengen Deep made of?

Replengen Deep is cross-linked, non-animal hyaluronic acid at 24 mg/mL with 0.3% lidocaine (3 mg/mL). Reanzen names two process steps. HAMC (Hyaluronic Acid Moisture Correction) is described as raising the cross-linking rate so the gel breaks down more slowly. GI (Grinding Irregular) cuts the gel into fine, even particles so it flows smoothly through the needle.

The lidocaine in the gel eases discomfort during injection. For sensitive areas, many clinics also apply a numbing cream first.

What does Replengen Deep treat?

Replengen Deep is the all-rounder of the range. It fills moderate to deep wrinkles such as nasolabial folds and marionette lines, adds body to the lips and restores volume in the mid-face. The maker's data sheet gives its gel firmness as 150–210 Pa, between Fine and Volume.

How is Replengen Deep used?

Replengen Deep is placed in the mid to deep dermis with the 27G needles supplied. Inject slowly and in small amounts. Because the gel is hyaluronic acid, placement can be corrected with hyaluronidase such as Liporase.

How long does Replengen Deep last?

Supplier data sheets for the Replengen facial gels cite about 6 to 12 months. Some distributors quote longer for the firmer gels, but we have not confirmed that with the manufacturer. The real figure depends on the area, the amount used and the patient.

How should Replengen Deep be stored?

Store Replengen Deep between 2 and 25 °C, away from direct sunlight. Do not freeze. Shelf life is 24 months from manufacture — check the date on the box.
