J-Cain Cream 10.56% is a Korean topical anaesthetic with 10.56% lidocaine, supplied in a 500 g jar. Clinics use it to numb intact skin before lasers, radiofrequency and fractional treatments, hair removal, injections, microneedling and tattoo or PMU work.

The 500 g jar is sized for daily clinic use. Ask us about trade pricing.

What is in J-Cain Cream?

  • Lidocaine 10.56% (105.6 mg per gram) — the numbing agent.
  • Cream base — a smooth, white to light yellow cream with emulsifiers and preservative, as listed on the jar.

Lidocaine is an amide anaesthetic. It blocks pain signals in the nerve endings of the skin for a short time.

How long does J-Cain take to work?

Most clinics leave J-Cain on for 20–30 minutes under cling film before a procedure. Numbing then typically lasts 60–90 minutes. Thin skin needs less time, so shorten the contact time on lips and around the eyes.

How do you apply and remove J-Cain Cream?

  1. Cleanse the area and pat it dry.
  2. Apply a thick, even layer to intact skin. Do not rub it in.
  3. For small areas, cover with cling film to speed up numbing.
  4. When the time is up, remove the film and wipe off all the cream with gauze.
  5. Disinfect the skin fully before you start the procedure.

Is J-Cain Cream safe on large areas?

Use it with care on large areas. Lidocaine passes through the skin into the blood. A strong cream spread over a wide area, left on too long or wrapped tightly can raise blood levels. Treat one area at a time, keep to the contact time and never apply it to broken or inflamed skin. Stop and remove the cream if the patient reports dizziness, tingling around the mouth or ringing in the ears.

How does J-Cain Cream compare with similar numbing creams?

J-Cain is one of several 500 g jars with 10.56% lidocaine. They share the same active and strength; the base and brand differ.
