Precautions & safety
Use with care on large areas. Lidocaine passes through the skin into the blood, and a strong cream spread over a wide area, left on too long or wrapped tightly can raise blood levels. Treat one area at a time and keep to the contact time.
Prilocaine can cause methaemoglobinaemia in high doses, which is a further reason to keep to small areas.
Stop and remove the cream if the patient reports dizziness, tingling around the mouth or ringing in the ears.
Regulatory status differs by country. Confirm that import, supply and use are lawful in the destination country before ordering.
Post-treatment care
- Wipe off all the cream with gauze once the contact time is up
- Disinfect the skin before starting the procedure
- Do not leave residue under an occlusive dressing after the procedure
- Ask the patient to report dizziness, tingling around the mouth or ringing in the ears
It is not an injectable and is not for use on broken or inflamed skin, on mucous membranes or in the eyes.
It is not a treatment product: it numbs the skin before a procedure and has no aesthetic effect of its own.
It is not a large-area cream. Lidocaine and prilocaine absorb through the skin, so treat one small area at a time.
Neo Pro Cream 30g FAQ
What is Neo Pro Cream 30g?
It is a Korean topical anaesthetic combining lidocaine with prilocaine, supplied in a 30 g tube. It numbs intact skin before lasers, injections, mesotherapy, thread lifting, permanent make-up, piercing and waxing.
What is in the pack, and what strength is it?
One 30 g tube of cream, enough for a few small-area treatments. The strength of each anaesthetic is printed on the tube and box, and the percentages on the tube you receive are the reference for dosing. Contact us for the current label details.
How long should it be left on?
Follow the contact time printed in the instructions for use. As a general guide, two-agent lidocaine and prilocaine creams are usually left on for 20 to 45 minutes and work better under cling film. Thin skin needs less time than thick skin.
How does Neo Pro compare with Neo-Cain Cream?
Neo-Cain Cream 500g is lidocaine only, at 10.56%, in a 500 g jar for daily clinic use. Neo Pro adds prilocaine as a second anaesthetic and comes in a 30 g tube. If you want a two-agent cream in a clinic-sized jar instead, Muchcaine 5% Plus is lidocaine 2.5% with prilocaine 2.5% in 500 g.
Who should not use it?
Patients allergic to amide anaesthetics, or with methaemoglobinaemia or G6PD deficiency. It must not be applied to broken or inflamed skin, and large areas should be avoided: lidocaine passes through the skin into the blood, and prilocaine can cause methaemoglobinaemia in high doses. Stop and remove the cream if the patient reports dizziness, tingling around the mouth or ringing in the ears.

What Neo Pro Cream is used for
Neo Pro numbs intact skin before lasers, injections, mesotherapy, thread lifting, permanent make-up, piercing and waxing. Both actives block pain signals in the nerve endings of the skin, with prilocaine working alongside lidocaine rather than replacing it, which is the difference from a lidocaine-only cream. It is a preparation step, not a treatment in its own right.
What is in the tube
The cream contains lidocaine, a fast-acting amide anaesthetic, and prilocaine, a second amide anaesthetic, in a smooth cream base that stays where you put it. The percentages are not fixed on this page because they are printed on the tube and box, and the label on the tube you receive is the reference for dosing. How Neo Pro compares with the other numbing creams we stock
Neo-Cain Cream 500g is lidocaine only, at 10.56%, in a 500 g jar sized for daily clinic use; Neo Pro adds prilocaine as a second anaesthetic and comes in a 30 g tube. Muchcaine 5% Plus is the two-agent equivalent in a clinic-sized jar, at lidocaine 2.5% with prilocaine 2.5% in 500 g, and SM Lido Cream is a lidocaine-only 30 g tube if a single agent in the small format is what you need. The full range sits under numbing creams and anaesthetics.
How Neo Pro Cream is applied
Cleanse the area and pat it dry, then apply a thick layer to intact skin without rubbing it in. Cover small areas with cling film if the instructions for use allow, since two-agent creams work better under occlusion. Follow the contact time printed in the instructions for use; as a general guide, lidocaine and prilocaine creams are usually left on for 20 to 45 minutes, and thin skin needs less time than thick skin. When the time is up, wipe off all the cream with gauze and disinfect the skin before starting the procedure.
Use the cream with care on large areas. Lidocaine passes through the skin into the blood, and a strong cream spread over a wide area, left on too long or wrapped tightly can raise blood levels; prilocaine can cause methaemoglobinaemia in high doses, which is a further reason to keep to small areas. Treat one area at a time, keep to the contact time, and never apply it to broken or inflamed skin. Stop and remove the cream if the patient reports dizziness, tingling around the mouth or ringing in the ears. Store the tube at room temperature, 1 to 30 °C, with the cap tightly closed, away from heat and flame and out of reach of children.
