Beracaine Spray is a Korean topical anaesthetic spray with 10% lidocaine, made by Firson Co., Ltd. It numbs the surface of skin and mucous membranes within a few minutes. Clinics use it before injections, minor procedures, dental and ENT work, piercing and PMU.

A spray is the quick option when a cream would take too long. Ask us about trade pricing.

What is in Beracaine Spray?

  • Lidocaine 10% — 10 g per 100 mL, the numbing agent.
  • Liquid spray base — as listed on the bottle.

Lidocaine is an amide anaesthetic. It blocks pain signals in surface nerve endings for a short time. The bottle size and dose per spray are printed on the label.

How long does Beracaine Spray take to work?

It works in about 1–3 minutes. The effect is short and shallow — typically 10–30 minutes at the surface. That suits quick steps such as a needle entry point, but not long laser or tattoo sessions, where a cream works better.

How do you use Beracaine Spray?

  1. Fit the nozzle and prime the pump if the bottle is new.
  2. Clean and dry the area.
  3. Aim the nozzle close to the site and spray the smallest number of doses needed.
  4. Wait 1–3 minutes.
  5. Blot any excess, disinfect the skin and start the procedure.

Count the sprays. Each one delivers a set amount of lidocaine, and the total is what matters.

Is Beracaine Spray safe on large areas?

Do not use it on large areas. Lidocaine is absorbed quickly, and faster still through mucous membranes and broken skin. Keep to small sites and the lowest number of sprays. In the mouth or throat, numbness can affect swallowing, so patients should not eat or drink until feeling returns. Stop if the patient reports dizziness, tingling around the mouth or ringing in the ears.

Spray or cream — which should you choose?

Choose by time and depth. A spray is fast and shallow; a cream is slower and numbs deeper.
