What is Hyafilia ME:DAM Prime made of?
ME:DAM Prime is non-animal hyaluronic acid at 20 mg/mL, cross-linked into a resilient, elastic gel, with 0.3% lidocaine to ease injection. CHA Meditech makes its Hyafilia gels with a low-temperature cross-linking process it calls L.T.S.R. (Low Temperature Stabilization Reaction).
Because it is HA, it can be dissolved with hyaluronidase if placement needs correcting. We stock Liporase for this.
What is ME:DAM Prime used for?
ME:DAM Prime is used for medium to deep wrinkles and soft volume. Common areas are nasolabial folds, marionette lines, lip volume and shape, and light cheek volume. Some clinics also use it on the backs of the hands. It is placed in the mid to deep dermis, usually with a 27G needle.
